The March issue of ISE is now available online with a focus on ergonomics leading into this month’s Applied Ergonomics Conference March 25-28 in New Orleans. The cover story by Tim Pottorff chronicles his work as ergonomics chief at Alcoa over several decades and the many successful projects that resulted. There’s lots more in this issue, including an article by yours truly, and we’ll highlight some of those in the coming weeks.
On a side note, I had the pleasure of sitting in on a teleconference meeting with our chapter leaders this week. As we continue to tweak ISE magazine, we want to include more news from professional and student chapters, divisions and societies in the monthly Institute section created to celebrate the shining stars of IISE. Whatever your group is doing of note, please feel free to pass it along to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. The magazine is by and for members, and we can’t do it without your help.
